When securing your own black light it is important that you get yourself a fluorescent tube black light or a specialized LED black light. The incandescent bulb black light is not frequency true enough to be effective. While writing this I just did a search for a portable LED black light pen light and this is what came up. I think portable is a great way to go.
If anyone comes up with a better unoit and better price, I would be interested as well.

MacJedi, You did a wonderful thing for all of us. Thank you with all my heart. I bought an incandescent black light from one of the box stores, and didn't even know there were different kinds with different frequencies. Now I just have to find the correct one to purchase.

ACTUALLY, IN A LOW LIGHT ROOM, MY ORDINARY SINGLE BLACK LIGHT INCANDESCENT BULB WORKED PERFECTLY WELL SHOWING ALL THESE MARKINGS. I GOT IT CHEAP AT THE HARDWARE STORE AND PUT IT IN A REGULAR LAMP SOCKET IN A DARKENED ROOM FOR VIEWING. USED IT ON DINAR, DONG, AND ZIM.

My 25K notes had a bit different markings under black light, or I should say they were missing part of what you had shared. I wonder if these are a different style as part of what is lit on yours is lit on mine. I have some of each...
What should I do?

Dear Mac Jedi,
We went to the battery store and purchased a black light. I am reposting this to thank you for this explanation and visual reference. For anyone who may be concerned about the legitimacy of their currency, this is well worth the piece of mind. The flash light cost just over $10.00 with the tax. I checked our currency and seems like everything checks out. Please don't disappear from the forum, your information is so valuable. The idiots out there are just that idiots! One never knows the impact one has on another's life. Thank you again, MM22

Next stop was Home Depot, and right there with all their other flashlights, was a black light flashlight.
( I didn't think I had time to order one online. LOL ) I purchased the one priced at $10.98
