2.The GREAT NEWS we have to share with you is that Hal was discharged from ICU early Sunday afternoon around 12:30 pm and was finally settled into his new “regular” room an hour or so later. The first thing Hal asked Lynn to do was to bring him his computer so that he could put down the thoughts he wanted to share with you regarding what he has been through. From this point on, these are the points he wants to share.

4.1.catnip and I have been married for 34 years. We are normally very private people. This truly for us is a significant departure but we feel deeply compelled to share with the family that has reached out for us.
4.2.We have very strong ties to Atlanta and East Tennessee but we claim East Tennessee as home of choice for several years. We have claimed the culture and community’s simple and “hard scrabble” approach to life as one would naturally reach for a well-worn pair of slippers that have stood the test of time. We share this insight as a seque to recount the following that we chose to share back to the community to interpret for themselves -but for us the message is profound and absolutely clear.
5.Lynn and I have long understood the broader context of what the RV / GCR truly is…an eternal struggle between Good and Evil. The battlefields do not always make discernments regarding this as simple or straight forward.
5.1.The incident that we bring forward for us is profound, we share it and note it so that the community understands the significance with which we regard it and the honor and privilege with which we share it with the community.
5.2.There was an instance early in my ICU stay, during which a young Tennessee Medical Technician came in to do a test. Spontaneously, he said, I can complete the test and I can pray for you. We leave to the community the absolute to draw from this whatever meaning or insight is meaningful for themselves; for us however the meaning was clear and unambiguous:
5.2.1.We all face critical crossroads during which guidance is most valuable. The point being is your story is written, your truth guidance is available.
5.2.2.Through the community of support messenger had been dispatched with our truth guidance message. The role of the messenger is to quiet the noise and to open the veil so that that which has been revealed for you may be heard by you.
5.2.3.For us, we have long realized that on the journey, we are ALL INVITED Guests. With unique stories.
5.2.3.1.When our time of greatest need arises, the eternal rises up in abundance and the required messenger is dispatched with your truthfor this time:
5.2.3.1.1.The background noise is diminished.
5.2.3.1.2.You may choose to accept it or you may choose to reject it; you may not ignore it
5.2.4.For us, the pure simplicity translated to a profound realization that our truth was being offered: our response was to accept.
5.2.5.The simple prayer that followed was elegant in its simplicity. It was the guidance for us at this time. He finished and followed with, I would accept this prayer any day willingly, and to us it was clear. For us this was the true messenger dispatched for us at this time of need with our guidance presented for our acceptance or rejection.
5.2.6.For us, at our time of greatest need, the whisper of truth is offered and is wholly and gratefully acknowledged as the gift of advisement from the community from which in the true fullness and abundance of life is made manifest.
5.3.To this point we would like to especially thank wanting freedom for graciously stepping forward
5.3.1.Her precious pause has allowed us to share back into the community in a true and authentic way that would have been impossible for us to within the sacred views that we so profoundly hold.
5.4.As personal give back to the community for the individual and collective good of community as we publicly whisper and publicly claim and freely acknowledge our belief in concepts deriving from the South African social concepts of UBUNTU the deep social community wisdom that serves as the social salve allowing for the organic and natural community wisdom to freely and uniquely evolve so that the messengers may bring forth the needed guidance within the community unimpeded as and when required.
