Al-Maliki: I will appeal the resignation of the Sadrist bloc's deputies to return them to the political process
Member of the State of Law coalition, Dergham al-Maliki, intends on Tuesday to submit an appeal to the Federal Court of the resignation of the Sadrist bloc's deputies to return them to the political process.
Al-Maliki said in a statement received by Earth News, "I will, after seeking permission from Muqtada al-Sadr and permission from the representatives and masses of the Sadrist bloc, gather things and work in a team spirit to advance the political reality of the country and to serve our patient Iraqi people."
He added, "I will appeal before the Federal Court the resignations of the Sadrist bloc's deputies for the purpose of returning them to the political process to serve Iraq and the patient people of Iraq."
It should be noted that the deputies of the Sadrist bloc submitted earlier a collective resignation from the House of Representatives.
