I have posted this regarding tweets in the past.

 Get your tweets direct from Twitter* I get two notifications now..One direct from Twitter and one in text
 Not getting Tweets???

If you are not receiving tweets... please reset your notifications. The Twitter support says the text alerts get backed up and eventually dropped.

Get the tweet notification directly from twitter not the text alerts....
               support.twitter.com
